Asbestos

This is a 40-hour asbestos-abatement worker intial course. Upon completion of this course, you will receive a state certification as an Asbestos Abatement Worker. This certification is required when doing any asbestos removal, clean-up or installation work in the state of Ohio. The course includes classroom instruction and discussion sessions covering the regulation governing asbestos work through hands-on instruction; the course utilizes the proper method of removing asbestos-containing materials, which assures the health and safety of our membership. By taking this course, you will help demonstrate that Operating Engineers are trained professionals capable of taking on the challenges of any workplace.
