Tower Crane

This class is designed to prepare operators by providing them with the basic information and skills to become Tower Crane Operators. The class focuses heavily on hands-on training. This introductory class is available to journeyperson operators who have completed the Crane I class in the last five years and must have prior mobile and/or tower crane operating experience. NOTE: All participates must have sufficient strength and agilityy to perform a 100' vertical climb several times a day, and must not have a fear of heights. You must visit your Training Center and utilize their Tower Crane Simulator to learn the tower crane controls. To register for this class you must contact your Union District Representative. This class will be taught in four ten hour days with a maximum of five individuals per class.
