Course Description

This course is intended to provide an introduction to the fundamental engineering concepts that an operating engineer may encounter. A variety of class exercises-- such as determining elevations, figuring volume and area, conversions, weight calculations, the effects of cycle-time variations, proper layout and sling-load capacities-- provide students with the opportunity to perform both individually and in groups. This class is open to all operators.
