Course Description

This 8-hour class, offered by Local 18, traces the history of the trade-union movement in North America through legislation. During this class, major labor laws will by explained and interpreted in our contemporary situation. Recent events and their impact on our union will be examined. In addition, the history of the International Union of Operating Engineers will be recounted.
