Course DescriptionThis class provides students with the basic information and skills to become tower-crane operators. The class focuses heavily on hands-on training. This introductory class is available to journeyperson operators who have completed the Crane I class (old 40- or 80-hr. class) in the last 5 years; they must have prior mobile and/or tower-crane-operating experience. NOTE: All participants must have sufficient strength and agility to perform a 100’ vertical climb several times a day, and must not have a fear of heights. To register for this class, you must contact your Union District Representative. |
